A house that opened its courtyard
Hostal Patio del Río is a colonial house in San Antonio, Cali’s historic neighbourhood, that works as a hostel and as a cultural meeting point. People sleep, cook and work here — and when night falls, they dance.

White outside, green inside
Outside: a white facade, clay roof tiles and orange wooden shutters. Inside: courtyards with plants and brick floors, a pool, an open-air bar with a stage, a shared kitchen, a games lounge and a coworking space upstairs with views over the neighbourhood.
The hostel describes itself as a “fresh and spacious” colonial home with shared and outdoor spaces, for a cultural experience in Cali’s historic centre.

A courtyard where cultures and know-how meet
“We organize artistic events and knowledge sharing with people and popular processes of the city for the enjoyment of guests and visitors.”
An open house
Events are meant “for the enjoyment of guests and visitors”: the courtyard isn’t only for the people sleeping here.
Culture with the city
Artistic events and knowledge-sharing with Cali’s people and grassroots initiatives, programmed in advance.
Salsa at home
Group classes in the courtyard, free for guests. Reviews mention them again and again.
